No hay en Latinoamérica una pintura como la de Fernando Daza, puede que la haga mejor - en algún sentido - pero no la hay tan explosiva, tan directa, tan dramática, de tan hondo llamado de la conciência, de tanto cargo colativo sangrando en los orígines; no hay una pintura tan actual, tan responsable, tan llena de vigor y transcendencia. Daza es basicamente muralista. Y sus conscepciones pictóricas apuntan al desarrollo comunicacional de ser comunicacion no sólo de palavra sino de espiritu. ¡Pero aqui tenemos un último asunto...
"¡Oh... my god! Nueva York - Setembre 11 del 2001."*
¡Oh, Dios mío, está dedicado al drama de las dos torres gemelas destruidas aquel 11 de septiembre.
Es una pintura dificil, terrible..., exclamación de espanto ante el ataque artero, indeleble en la imaginación de Fernando Daza, quien solo al avanzar el año 2002 logra plasmar lo tremendo del impacto que mata y deploma una seguradidad que la traición la convierte en aparente.
Es dificil contemplar esta tela tan dramática, discutirla academicamente. Sólo queda preguntarse:
¿De qué lado está Dios?But here we have a last subject... "Oh... my god!
