Fernando Daza born in Santiago de Chile in 1930. Studied at the University of Bellas Artes of Chile. Daza is one of his time. He painted a mural devoted to the Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1945. He painted another great mural, "La busqueda", dedicated to mankind.

This mural is in the capital of Chile, and extend for 200 meters. During his time in Venezuela he painted two murals. "Las tres caras de América Latina"and "Sueño Boliviano". In Miami he painted "La Leyenda del Hombre", Gettisburg Surreal", "El Tercer Mundo", "Anatomia Física de un país Latinoamericano" and "El Neófilo".

His paintings are in private in Brasil, Canada, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, etc. He has been exhibited in Buenos Aires National Museum, and in the Museum of Bellas Artes and Artes Decorativas in Santiago de Chile.

In 1996, he was invited to exhibit his artworks in the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, in Madrid. His artworks suggest a surreal expressionism.

Fernando Daza nació en Santiago Chile en 1930. Estudió en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Chile. Es el mas importante pintor muralista chileno. Autor del mural dedicado a la poetisa chilena Gabriela Mistral, premio Nobel de Literatura en 1945.

Creador de otro gran mural dedicado al Hombre, llamado "La Busqueda", importante obra de 200 mts. De superficie para la GranLogia de Chile en la capital chilena. Durante su estadia en Venezuela crea el mural "Las tres caras América Latina" y el "Sueño Bolivariano". En Miami entre muchas obras de caballete, há exhibido "La leyenda del Hombre", "Gettisburg Surreal", "AnatomiaFísica de un pais Latinoamericano", "El tercer mundo", y "El Neófilo".

Sus obras estan en colecciones particulares en Argentina, Brasil, Canadá, España, Venezuela etc. Há sido invitado a exponer en el museo de Bellas Artes y el Museo de Artes Decorativas de Santiago. En 1996 fue invitado a exponer parte de su obra en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes San Fernando en Madrid. Su obra se ubica dentro de un vigoroso expresionismo sureal.
